Package Overview

Bhaba Pass is an interesting trek, starting from Spiti region and finishing at Kafnoo in Kinnaur after crossing Bhabha Pass (4640 meter). Bhaba pass Trek is one of the famous tour among the Himachal Trekking tours. The pass remains snow-bound round the year. After crossing the Bhaba pass, the landscape changes dramatically, with the barren lunarscape of Spiti being replaced by the thick forest of Pine, cedar and deodar. Pilgrimage of Kinner Kailash is introducing with the culture and religion of Hindu and Buddhist religion of semi deserted district of Kinnaur.The trek starts from barren Spiti region with stark landscape and in contrast Kinnaur is lush green. The trip also offers chance to visit many Buddhist monasteries , different culture and tradition.

Tour Itinerary

Day 01 - Chandigarh Thanedar(7700 feet) -195 kms/ 6 hrs

Reach Chandigarh by Shatabdi train / flight around 1100 hrs and drive to Thanedar via Shimla; the summer capital of the British at the time of their rule. Overnight Stay at Sangla.

Day 02 – Thanedar - Sangla (8700 feet) – 165 kms/ 6 hrs
A walk in the Saroga forest early in the morning. Around mid - morning, drive to Sangla. Arrive in Sangla early evening. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in tents At Sangla Hill.

Day 03 - Sangla - Rakcham - 12 kms/ 4-5 hrs
Today is the acclimatization hike. Hike up to Rakcham village. This is a beautiful hike and we call it the Signature walk of the valley’. Back to camp in the evening. Overnight stay in Sangla Station.

Day 04 - Sangla Kafnu (7216 feet) Mulling (10759 feet) Drive - 66km/3 hrs
Drive to Kafnu, 2200M. The starting point of the trek. Walk to Mulling, 3280M, through forest and meadows. Steep climb in parts. Night stay in trekking tents.

Day 05 - Mulling Kara (11677 feet) - 6km/3hrs
Kara at 3560 Meters is a nice meadow with lots of alpine flowers.

Day 06 - Kara - Phustirang (13776 feet) - 6km/3hrs
Early morning departure. A steep 3 km/ 3hrs walk leads to the 4865 Meters high pass. There is a very good chance of finding snow at the pass. All peaks towards Spiti are visible. Camp overnight.

Day 08 - Chhochhoden - Mud - Kaza (12 km/ 4 km, 65 km/2hrs
The walk is on the right bank of River Pin and has very gradual gradient. Drive from Mud and drive to Kaza. Night stay at Spiti expedition.

Day 09 - Kaza - Manali - 200 km/ 8-9 hrs
Drive for Manali via Kunzum and Rohtang la as we head back towards home. Reach Manali in the evening and settle into your room. Evening at leisure. Night stay in hotel.

Day 10 - Drop At Chandigarh Airport Railway Station/8-9 hrs
